I am a retired attorney who is passionate about coaching and helping adults who are challenged by hearing loss, ADHD and other cognitive issues. I have completed the ADHD Comprehensive Coach Training Program by the American Coaching Association and I'm a Certified Peer Mentor for the Hearing Impaired (Gallaudet University, 2007) as well as a Certified Hearing Loss Support Specialist (Hearing Loss Association of America, 2007).
I am certified to coach individuals and professionals on the challenges related to problems of attention, organization, task initiation and timely completion, time management, and other problems that challenge your ability to stay focused and on-task, and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and family members. Causes may include AD/HD, hearing impairment and Auditory Processing Disorder. My experience and training, including 30-years of civil litigation in private law practice, uniquely qualify me to work with professionals so challenged, primarily those in the legal profession.
Homer is a member of the Georgia and New Jersey (associate) Bars and the American Bar Association for which he serves as a volunteer peer mentor for hearing impaired lawyers.
